Uh-Oh!

Sapphie loves to say "uh-oh!", especially when we go into her room in the morning or after a nap, and she's decided to throw all of her snugglies out of the crib. As soon as you walk in, she says "uh-oh!" and points to the pile of things on the floor. It is so cute. She also does it with food - drops it on the floor for the dogs and says "uh-oh!" as they lap it up.
Well this week, Sapphie had a big uh-oh. She was playing ride the lamb with Uncle Isaac, and got a little caught up in the excitement. Before he could say "calm down!", Sapphie was rocking like a wild woman, threw her hands in the air, and went tumbling backwards off the little lamb. She twisted on the way down, landed smack on her right shoulder, and broke her collarbone. Poor thing!

Here she is a few months ago, enjoying the rocking lamb. Go horsey!!

And today, here she is being very sad for an xray at the hospital.
We felt terrible for her, but she was a good girl. And here is the xray. See the White dot on her collarbone, below and to the right of her jawbone? That's the break.

Isaac says the rocking lamb is evil. I say, better to hurt yourself having a blast than being tortured or stranded somewhere! Yes, that's me, always thinking the worst. Sapphie though, although a little sore, was giving her lamb some loving squeals today. I think she'll be riding again by the end of the week!

Ride 'em, cowgirl! Ee-ha!
Poor little Sapphie Girl! You'll heal up in a jiffy, and be back in the saddle again real soon!
In the meantime, big smooches from your Lalla xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
